The 15-year-old son of a Jewish family in suburban Los Angeles was arrested in connection with a cross burning on his parents’ lawn. The boy told the Orange County Register that he participated with three others in the cross burning because he was angry at his parents. According to the newspaper, the boy also admitted using chemicals to burn a swastika into his home’s lawn in a separate incident because his mother wouldn’t give him $3 for a pack of cigarettes. That incident was not reported to police.
