The $425,000 Sweden agreed to pay into a fund for Holocaust survivors will benefit two Jewish projects in Ukraine. As a result of an agreement with the European Jewish Congress, Sweden will provide the money for a soup kitchen for elderly survivors and for food programs in Jewish schools in the former Soviet republic.
