The Adlers’ Young Men’s Independent Association Number One will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary on Sunday March 18, with a jubilee meeting in the grand ballroom of the Hotel Commodore. Senator Robert F. Wagner, Lieutenant Governor M. William Bray, Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch, and District Attorney William C. Dodge are expected to attend. Hyman J. Reit will act as toastmaster. Stage and radio stars will furnish entertainment.
The organization, which was chartered as a fraternal society, has for the past fifty years been giving aid to the needy It has a membership of more than 1,000.
