The American Associates of Ben Gurion University has announced it has received a first installment check for $250,000 from the estate of Morris Metz of Brooklyn, who died in 1975. The check was accepted from Barry Aronoff, an executor for the estate, by Ms. Bobbi Abrams, chairman of the executive committee of the organization. Frederick Siegmund, the organization’s secretary and general counsel, said that there was no way of knowing at this stage of the proceedings, what the balance of the bequest to the university would total.
