The American diplomat stated that he hoped that his four years inj Vancouver,his eight years in Rumania and his experience in helping American citizens would make his path in Palestine easier.

Gerald Campbell,British Consul General in New York,who congratulated Mr. Palmer said: “The Jews want to make the land of their fathers fit for themselves and their children to live in.I am certain that the issues between the Jews and the Arabs in Palestine can, be settled only on an economic pasis.”
