The American Israel Public Affairs Committee has placed on paid leave two officials who have been at the center of a federal investigation. JTA has learned that Steve Rosen, director of foreign policy issues for AIPAC, and Keith Weissman, an Iran specialist, are no longer working at its headquarters, though it is not clear for how long that has been true. AIPAC said it does not comment on personnel matters.
