The American Jewish Committee, the American Jewish Congress and the Anti-Defamation League withdrew their legal support of a Muslim woman in her employment discrimination claim after an extremist Muslim group joined in the friend of the court brief. The Council on American Islamic Relations joined the case of Zeinab Ali, an employee at Alamo Rent-A-Car who was asked to remove her headscarf at work.
