The American Jewish Congress filed a friend-of-the-court brief supporting a man who filed a complaint against a minor league baseball team because it discounted tickets to fans who brought a church bulletin to games. In the case, which is pending before the Maryland Human Rights Commission, Carl Silverman claims that the promotion by the Hagerstown, Md., Suns club discriminates against him because he does not belong to a church.
