The amount of 100,000 roubles has been allocated by the Ukrainian government for the purpose of training the Jewish youth in the small towns in the building trade. The measure was necessitated by the great demand for builders in the country.

$25,000 LEFT IN BEQUEST FOR KEREN HAYESOD

The American Keren Hayesod has been bequeathed a sum exceeding $25,000 in the will of the late Mrs. Clara Weinstein of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Through the efforts of Morris Rothenberg of New York, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Keren Hayesod, and Daniel Alexander, Jewish social worker and attorney of Salt Lake City, in negotiating with relatives of the deceased, the sale of certain stocks and bonds has already netted $21,855.77, this sum having been remitted to national headquarters of the Keren Hayesod.

The convention of all Jewish organizations in St. Louis will be held on Sunday.

Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum will be the principal speaker. The purpose of the convention is to organize a St. Louis Council of the American Jewish Congress.
