The Amsterdam Stock Exchange issued an official apology for looting Jewish assets during World War II. In June, the exchange and the Dutch Banking Association agreed to pay $130.2 million to the local Jewish community. As part of that agreement, the exchange said it would offer an apology for the looting and for failing to make restitution after the war.
