The Anglo-Jewish Association will make a public appeal in behalf of the victims of the Palestine earthquake. Mr. D’Avigdor Goldsmid announced at today’s session of the Board of Jewish Deputies.
Two hundred fifty pounds have already been forwarded to Acting High Commissioner Symes, and promises of an additional £ 280 have been obtained.
This appeal will not interfere with that of the Zionist Organization, Mr. Goldsmid declared.
