The Anne Frank Cantata will have its world premiere in Cape Town on June 18, a few days after what would have been Anne’s 74th birthday. The words and music were composed by Roland Polastro, an English non-Jew who lives in Cape Town. Polastro, who is in the process of converting to Judaism, says the Cantata is a tribute not only to Anne but to Jewish suffering everywhere.
