The anti-Semitic crusade started here immediately following German occupation of Chancellor Hitler’s Czech “protectorate” had by tonight almost completely remodelled this Moravian city along typical Nazi lines. Most of the cafes have blossomed out with such signs as “Jews not wanted here!” Stores have been instructed to placard their windows with signs announcing, “Czech Business.”
