The Austrian press reports that the Kishinev police president has been dismissed because he had hidden himself during the recent anti-Semitic excesses which occurred in a number of places as a result of Cuzist agitation, thus preventing the organizing of protection. Another charge against him was that he submitted to the central government in Bucharest inaccurate reports.
