The booklet, “Piedra Gloriosa,” by Menasse Ben Israel printed in 1655 with four etchings by Rembrandt, has been stolen from the Rembrandt House in Amsterdam. It is one of the four extant copies of this rare work and is also one of the very few instances of a book illustrated by Rembrandt. The value of the pamphlet is estimated at some $20,000.
