The British government has warned importers they may have to pay taxes on Israeli imports produced beyond Israel’s pre-1967 border. Under Israel’s agreement with the European Union, European importers are liable to be taxed on products made in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, but do not have to pay tax on goods produced within Israel proper.
