The British Government was urged at numerous public meetings last night and by 200 rabbis from all over Poland to commute the death sentence of Shlomo Ben-Josef in Palestine. A street demonstration sponsored by the New Zionist Organization was preceded by a large meeting at which a letter from the condemned youth to his mother was read.
