The British Government will not oppose Arab representation on any investigating commission which the special session of the U.N. General Assembly may appoint to inquire into the Palestine situation, it was learned here today.
This report is a reversal of a previously announced British policy which stated that the government would oppose inclusion of Arab delegates on such a commission as a matter of fair play. Commenting on the report, Jewsih circles stated that the confidence of world Jewry would be severely shaken if Arabs were included on the inquiry body while Jews were not:
