The British soccer team Chelsea will not wear the logo of its sponsor, Emirates Airlines, during a match Thursday against Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. The London team said it made the decision after consulting the British Foreign Office, Israeli soccer officials, the body that regulates European soccer and the Gulf-based airline itself, which said it understood the “sensitivity” of the matter during current international tensions.
