The Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, now entering upon its twentieth year, will expend $827,220 during 1929 through its twenty-five affiliated agencies, representing the largest budget in the history of the organization, according to figures made public.
In announcing the 1929 budget, Morris Salzman, Chairman of the Federation’s Finance Committee, reported that the approved expenditures for the forthcoming year represent an increase of $38,802 over the disbursements made in 1928.
