The brother of an Israeli spy who was hanged in Syria in 1965 sent a letter to Syrian President Hafez Assad asking for permission to visit the grave. After the Israeli daily Ma’ariv published the letter Monday, members of Eli Cohen’s family said they are worried that the letter’s publication could harm their efforts.
