William Burns, assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, will attend the funeral of the Palestinian Authority president, who died early Thursday. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and other lawmakers have asked the Bush administration to refuse to send a delegation to the funeral.
