The Cabinet met for seven hours today with top generals of the army command to discuss the army’s own research into the Yom Kippur War and the lessons derived from it. The Cabinet sat as the Ministerial Security Committee and its deliberations were, therefore, secret. A spokesman said the discussion had not been concluded and would continue into a second session, at least.
