The Canadian Forces reportedly appointed an Orthodox Jewish chaplain, the first since World War II. Shmais.com reported that Rabbi Chaim Mendelsohn was sworn in at a ceremony at the National Defence Medical Centre Auditorium in Ottawa last week.
