The chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee reiterated his call for a NATO security force for Israel and the Palestinian areas. “The presence of NATO, I think, at the invitation of both governments, would bring about some measure of greater stability so that the process can go forward and the Palestinian prime minister can get a better grip on the internal security in his country,” Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) said Wednesday on CNN.
