The chief suspect in the recent brutal murder of a French Jew denied to an investigative judge that he committed the crime. Youssouf Fofana acknowledged that he was the leader of a gang suspected in the case but gave no explanation for Ilan Halimi’s death, Fofana’s lawyer said.
