The co-defendant of the U.S. teen-ager who fled to Israel after being charged with murder hanged himself. Aaron Needle, 18, committed suicide one day before he had been scheduled to undergo psychiatric evaluation. Samuel Sheinbein is in Israel, awaiting a final judgment on whether he will stand trial there or in the United States. Meanwhile, American prosecutors gave immunity to Sheinbein’s brother, Robert, who had refused to cooperate with them unless given immunity, although there was no evidence to connect him to the murder.
