The compulsory sale of part of the land belonging to ten colonies was demanded today by the government.
Acting in consonance with the land expropriation ordinance, the government demanded the sale of the land for the purpose of running the pipe lines of the Iraq petroleum company.
The Jewish colonies affected by this situation are those situated in Eastern and Central Emek and include Kfar Hassidim, Mizrah, Jedda and Sheik Abrek.
