The Cross of Honor of the German Red Cross was presented by the German Consul General, Dr. von Lewinsky, to Dr. Emanuel de Marnay Baruch of New York City.
The decoration is in recognition of work done by Dr. Baruch in aid of German scientific research and the relief of suffering among German children. Dr. Baruch was recently decorated with the Grand Cross of Honor of the Austrian Red Cross; also the Grand Cross of the Austrian Republic.
Dr. Baruch has been made an honorary member of the Senate of the University of Innsbruck.
