The Czech Republic has a stamp featuring a drawing made by a Jewish boy who died in Auschwitz. The drawing by Petr Ginz features a view of the earth as seen from the moon. Ginz, who was sent to Theresientadt in 1942, died in Auschwitz in 1944. Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon took Ginz’s drawing on the ill-fated Columbia space shuttle in 2003. The stamp was unveiled Thursday.
