The Czech Republic is holding a competition for projects that would help victims on both sides of the Israeli-Lebanese conflict. The Foreign Ministry announced it had earmarked $318,000 for humanitarian aid projects and would announce the winners of the competition on Sept. 6. In a separate move last week, the government set aside $682,000 in aid for Lebanese and Israelis.
