The “Daily Chronicle,” quoting the Central News Agency in reporting the attack on Norman Bentwich, Palestine Attorney-General, says that the assailant admitted having received £100 to carry out the attempt on Bentwich’s life. The “Daily Herald” quotes the British United Press as saying that the assassin also admitted being offered £100 no matter what happened to him.
