The death of two North American immigrants to Israel is believed to be part of a family suicide pact. A car that was struck by a train near Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael on Tuesday was found to contain an 82-year-old woman, who was critically injured. Police originally assumed the incident was an accident caused by the woman, until they discovered the bodies of her son and daughter, aged 49 and 48 respectively, 150 yards away.
