The enlargement of the “Palestine Bulletin,” only English daily in Palestine, published by the Palestine Telegraphic Agency, was welcomed in the Hebrew press.
The “Ha-Aretz” wrote: “This is an important even, whereby what was an English leaflet will become, through its new features, a small daily capable of satisfying the requirements of readers unable to read the Hebrew dailies.” The “Ha’Aretz” finds the Bulletin “somewhat Americanized” as to the style of headlines.
The appearance of an English supplement of the Hebrew daily “Davar” was also greeted as an attempt to penetrate more limited circles.
