The erection of a new temple for Har Sinai Congregation of Trenton, N. J. will be started within a short time, it was announced following the sale of the present temple of the congregation to S. K. Kaufman.
Har Sinai congregation has conducted services in the Temple since 1902. The congregation was established more than 75 years ago.
The members of the congregation now largely reside in the western section of the city and for that reason it was decided about two years ago that a new temple should be erected in that district. Following this decision the congregation purchased a large lot in that district.
Louis S. Kaplan, architect, is preparing plans for the structure, which will represent an expenditure of $200,000.
Rabbi Abraham Halrberg is rabbi of Har Sinai Congregation.
