The European office of the Simon Wiesenthal Center criticized the European Union for blasting Israel’s policy of assassinating Palestinian militants accused of leading attacks on Israel. Shimon Samuels, head of the office, said he had written to E.U. officials to protest its condemnation of Israeli actions the 15-nation bloc had described as “contrary to the rule of law.”
