The excesses against the Jewish students in the Vienna universities continue despite the orders of the authorities and the police intervention outside the university grounds.

Jewish students were barred by their Hakenkreuzler classmates from attending the inauguration ceremonies of the new rector, Dr. Gleispach. The new rector is known for his sympathies to ward the Voelkische, nationalist, students.

The Vienna Kehillah and a number of other Jewish organizations are planning to intervene with the government in behalf of the Jewish students.
