The family of the Chasidic man killed in the Crown Heights riots of 1991 is seeking a life sentence for the man convicted of violating his civil rights. But lawyers for both sides involved in the case have said that the law only allows a 10-year sentence for Lemrick Nelson, who admitted to the killing.
