The father-in-law of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne bailed out a financially troubled synagogue in England. Don Arden, who was born Harry Levy, donated several thousand dollars to the Higher Crumpsall/Higher Broughton Synagogue to settle the shul’s debt with a burial society. Arden’s sister is the synagogue’s administrator.
