The father of an Israeli soldier held hostage in the Gaza Strip reportedly plans to visit the Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat reported this week that Noam Shalit, whose son, Gilad, was abducted last June, plans to visit Gaza in the near future for talks with members of the governing Hamas faction and the rival Fatah movement.
