The FBI spied on American Zionists during the 1940s, according to a new book. In “Militant Zionism in America: The Rise and Impact of the Jabotinsky Movement in the United States, 1926-1948,” Rafael Medoff writes that the FBI collected information on Zionists because it was worried about their connections to the underground Jewish militia in Palestine.
