The “Felestin” reports that the Currency Committee appointed by the Government has completed its work, and the results will be published shortly. The Committee proposes that notes to the value of one pound sterling each be issued. The Palestine pound will comprise 10 dinars of 2 shillings each. The dinar will be divided into 100 centimes. The Palestine currency will be secured by English banknotes.
