The first anniversary of Israeli independence was celebrated here by a reception tendered yesterday by Maurice Fischer, Israeli diplomatic representative, and a mass meeting sponsored last night by the Zionist Federation of France. Among the leading personalities attending the rally were French Minister of Labor Daniel Mayer, Fischer, Georges Wormser, president of the Paris Jewish Consistory, Andre Blumel, Solomon Grumbach and other French Jewish leaders.
