The forces of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski control central Poland completely and the largest part of the Eastern Provinces of the Republic. Notwithstanding this fact, mobilization of the reserve officers are enrolling in great numbers in preparation for the last battle which is to take place against a ten thousand men strong army under the leadership of General Jozef Haller. The army of General Haller, who is one of Pilsudski’s bitter opponents, is advancing on the capital and is two days march from the city.
