The fourth biennial convention of the New York State Federation of Temple Sisterhoods will be held April 22 to 24 at Temple Rodeph Sholom, 7 West Eighty-third street.
Organizations throughout the metropolitan area, upstate and nearby communities will be represented. Delegates from thirty-nine sisterhoods connected with reform temples will attend.
“What Constitutes a Modern Jewish Life?” will be the general theme of the convention. As president of the Conference of American Rabbis, the Rev. Dr. Samuel H. Goldenson of Congregation Emannu-El will bring a message. Rabbi Sidney S. Tedesche of Union Temple, Brooklyn, will lead the inspirational meeting on Sunday evening. Rabbi Louis I. Newman will bring greetings.
