The genocide of the Jewish people during World War II must never be forgotten, Slovak President Rudolf Schuster said during the nation’s first Day of Remembrance of Holocaust Victims. He also called for a tightening of hate crimes legislation and stiffer punishments for those convicted of hate crimes.
