The Greater New York Conference on Soviet Jewry reported Monday that Prisoners of Conscience Hillel Butman, serving 10 years and Iosef Mishener serving six years were transferred to isolation cells for refusing to do any work while in solitary confinement. Butman was given a five-month sentence, and Mishener three months.
