The Hartford Jewish Council will conduct the local United Jewish Appeal for the aid of German-Jewish refugees beginning May 13. The quota for this city has been set at $20,000. The drive will be carried on as a function of the council’s committee on relations with national and international agencies, headed by Abraham Goldstein, president Louis Myers of the council announced.
