The Hebrew University Library in Jerusalem has received as a gift the large music library of the late Adolph Dryer of Cincinnati, according to an announcement from Dr. Hugo Bergmann, librarian, made public here by the American Friends of Hebrew University.
Two instructors, formerly of Germany, have been added to the university staff to head the music department. They are Emil Hauser, instrumental music, and Karl Salomon, vocal music.
The Jewish National and University Library, Mount Scopus, has issued a catalogue of Judaeo-Spanish books, as a special supplement to Kirjath Sepher, a bibliographical quarterly of Jewish books published by the Hebrew University Library.
The current issue of Kirjath Sepher contains the concluding series in the bibliography of the Yemenite Jews, by E. Brauer, as well as the usual list of Hebraica and Judaica throughout the world.
