The historical and economic divisions of the Yiddish Scientific Institute are being moved here from the Berlin office. The chief seat of the Institute is in Vilna, Poland.
It is also likely that the office and equipment of the Yiddish Encyclopaedia will also be transfered here from Berlin. Two of the editors, A. Tcherikover and Jacob Lestchinsky, are already here.
